2.What should be paid attention to when installing the crane slewing bearing?

(1) The tempering belt of the ring gear (at the outer mark “S”) and the place where the steel ball loading and unloading holes are blocked should be placed in the non-load area or light load area.

(2) The installation platform must be clean and flat, without iron filings, burrs or other debris, and its flatness should meet the regulations

(3) The mounting bracket must have sufficient rigidity to prevent the crane slewing bearing from being deformed due to insufficient rigidity of the bracket, resulting in the slewing bearing not working properly. Under the action of rated load, the support plane should meet the requirements of relevant standards.

(4) Note on gear installation: ensure that the central axes of the large and small gears are parallel. The pinion must be assembled from the mark of the highest point of the tooth jump of the large gear of the slewing bearing (the green mark), and the backlash between the gear and the pinion at this point should not be less than the specified value.
