1. Cleaning before installation

Therefore, the surface of the journal, the surface of the bearing housing shell, the end face of the shoulder, and the mating surface of the connecting parts such as bushings, washers, ends, etc., should be carefully inspected before installation. If there is a rust layer, it can be removed with a fine file, polished with a fine emery cloth, and the attachments on the bearing assembly surface and its connecting parts should also be removed.

3. Heating installation

For medium and large bearings with large interference, in order to facilitate installation, they must be heated before installation; for tight fit light metal bearing housing holes (such as aluminum bearing housings), due to the low hardness, in order to prevent the bearing outer ring from being pressed into If the surface of the housing hole of the bearing housing is scratched or scratched, it should also be heated and installed.

The heating method is generally to put the bearing or separable bearing ring into the oil tank filled with clean oil, so that the oil submerges the non-standard bearing and heats it evenly. When the temperature reaches 80-90 ℃, take it out, wipe it, and install it while it is still hot.

The fuel tank can be made of 2-3mm thick iron plate, a porous iron plate is added at a height of 50-70mm from the bottom of the tank, and the bearing is placed on the porous iron plate for heating. The purpose is to avoid the impurities deposited in the oil from entering the bearing.

However, for bearings with dust caps or sealing rings on both sides, since lubricants have been added during manufacture, they cannot be heated in the early stage of installation.
